Qingniao

Qingniao

青鸟

Wind ★★★★ Rarity Support

📍 High-altitude areas of Tianyue City, Rooftops

Abilities

Updraft (Active)

Creates a temporary vertical wind current that the player can use to launch themselves high into the air.

Tailwind Strike (Combat)

Swoops down on enemies, dealing AoE Xun Wind damage and slightly pulling smaller enemies toward the center of impact.

Feathered Grace (Passive)

While equipped, significantly reduces stamina consumption when gliding and increases base movement speed.

Qingniao (青鸟) is one of the most useful utility Moon Spirits in Gazing Moon, especially for players who love to explore the vertical heights of Tianyue City.

How to Capture Qingniao

Qingniao is typically found in high-altitude areas. You will rarely find them at street level.

  1. Locations: Look for them nesting on the rooftops of skyscrapers in the central commercial district, or perched on the massive neon billboards overlooking the highways.
  2. Capture Strategy: They are skittish and will fly away if approached too quickly. You must use stealth to get close, or use a ranged character (like someone with a bow or gun) to initiate combat and break their posture gauge before throwing a Moon Prism.

Combat & Exploration Utility

While Qingniao can deal decent AoE Wind damage in combat, its true value lies in exploration.

The Updraft ability is a game-changer. Instead of slowly climbing the side of a building, you can summon Qingniao to create a wind tunnel, instantly launching you dozens of meters into the air. When combined with its passive stamina reduction for gliding, Qingniao allows you to traverse massive sections of the city without ever touching the ground.

In combat, the Tailwind Strike is excellent for triggering Swirl-like elemental reactions when combined with Fire or Water characters, spreading the elements across a wide area.
