Gazing Moon June 19-21 Guangzhou Playtest Details Revealed

Following the major gameplay reveal earlier this year, Shiyue Network (诗悦网络) has officially announced a new offline playtest for their highly anticipated urban open-world RPG, Gazing Moon (望月).

The playtest will take place in Guangzhou, China from June 19 to June 21, 2026, offering players a hands-on experience with the newly revamped version of the game.

• Playtest Dates: June 19, 2026 – June 21, 2026
• Location: Guangzhou, Guangdong Province (Specific venue details sent to selected participants)

Public Access Available

According to official announcements on platforms like Bilibili and Bahamut (巴哈姆特), the June 19-20 sessions are considered “Public Playtests” (公開試玩).

This means that even if you did not secure a pre-registration qualification, you can still participate! Players can line up at the venue through the “On-site Queuing Channel” (現場排隊通道) to enter the demo area and experience the game.

What to Expect

Participants will be able to experience the latest build of Gazing Moon, which has undergone significant overhauls since its initial test in January 2025. Key features to look out for include:

• Revamped Combat System: A closer look at the action combat and the Moon Spirit (月靈) companion mechanics.
• Guangzhou-Inspired Cityscape: Explore the unique urban environment that blends modern city life with traditional Chinese fantasy elements.
• Vehicle Construction: Test out the highly praised “Vehicle Blueprint” (載具圖紙) system, allowing players to quickly print and ride custom vehicles.
