The developers revealed that his design was inspired by real-world social issues and the concept of mortality. In Tianyue City, Kongqing captures the final moments and memories of its citizens. This unique profession is expected to tie heavily into the game's narrative themes of life, death, and the "Chaos" that infects Moon Spirits.

While his exact combat kit has not been fully revealed, the developers have stated that a character's profession in Gazing Moon directly dictates their combat style.
