Abilities
Aqua Coil (Active)
Wraps around the target, dealing continuous Kan Water damage and rooting them in place for 3 seconds.
Whirlpool Trap (Combat)
Summons a large whirlpool on the ground that pulls in nearby enemies and continuously applies the Wet status.
Hydration (Passive)
Increases the elemental mastery of the active character when attacking enemies affected by the Wet status.
Yishuilong (翼水龙) is a Kan Water element Moon Spirit that excels in crowd control and elemental application. Its serpentine/lizard-like design allows it to slither through combat effortlessly, trapping enemies for your main DPS to finish off.
How to Capture Yishuilong
Yishuilong prefers damp, dark environments.
- Locations: They are most commonly found in the underground sewer networks of Tianyue City or near the artificial canals in the lower districts.
- Capture Strategy: They are highly aggressive and will attack on sight. Because they use water attacks, it is highly recommended to bring an Earth (Gen Mountain) or Lightning (Zhen Thunder) character to quickly break their posture gauge.
Combat Utility: The Ultimate Grouper
Yishuilong’s primary function in any team composition is grouping enemies.
The Whirlpool Trap ability acts as a miniature black hole, sucking in smaller enemies and keeping them clustered together. This makes Yishuilong an essential companion for characters with powerful Area of Effect (AoE) abilities, such as Lingbeijing or Kongqing.
Furthermore, the continuous application of the “Wet” status makes it incredibly easy to set up Freeze or Vaporize elemental reactions.
